The Search for Silver Linings: Creativity and Resilience in the Response to COVID-19 (Part 2)
Join Brick by Brick Uganda to reflect on the stories told by their partner mothers in the Mama Ambassador Program (MAP) of creating a nurturing, caring environment in both before and during COVID 19. The question we are exploring is how we can intentionally and effectively integrate partner families into program design, reflection and redesign.

Over the past two years, with support from Saving Brains, Brick by Brick has introduced the MAP, which serves over 400 adolescent mothers and babies with monthly peer support groups, focusing on parenting skills to strengthen the bond between mother and baby. Through this program, babies have realized improved development in the first year of life, and young mothers have gained new found confidence through the support of their peers.

Measurement FOR Change - How to use it in practice
12:30 PM GMT
Frontiers in Public Health have published the series, Effective Delivery of Integrated Interventions in Early Childhood: Innovations in Evidence Use, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. The majority of contributors are from the Saving Brains Community, and their papers explore the practical application of Measurement FOR Change – measurement that is part of a continuous, dynamic progression, and that guides decision-making throughout the course of implementation and scaling.
In this webinar three author groups will share their reflections on developing effective delivery processes. We will also explore the 5 key aspirations of the Measurement FOR Change approach, and the connection they make between ethical processes and effective practice.
We invite you to join the discussion on the implications of this approach for effective delivery at scale.

Scaling Thematic Brief: Scaling Through Social Entrepreneurship (Part 2)
The Saving Brains Transition to Scale workshops bring innovators together for three days of intense discussion, planning, sharing and peer exchange. Afterwards, we look carefully at the themes and ideas exchange, and build them (bottom up) into a Thematic Brief to share back with the wider community.

In these two webinars, we'll explore the thematic brief from the Toronto workshop where the focus of discussions was on Scaling ECD through Social Entrepreneurship. The key themes included 1) sustainable business models, 2) maintaining quality at scale, 3) technology and data, 4) leadership. Join us in these webinars to learn what Saving Brains innovators had to say on each of these topics when they met in Toronto (in those pre-COVID days!) and to add your own experience to this thematic brief.
